Catalase Enzyme

Catalase is a high concentrated liquid enzyme produced by modern fermentation technology. It can efficiently catalyze hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide) into oxygen and water, and can be widely used in textile, paper, electronics and other industries to remove hydrogen peroxide, a significant saving of water resources and reduce energy consume.

Description

Activity Definition

one unite(U/mLorU/g) means the amount of catalase need to decompose 1 micro molar of hydrogen peroxide in one minute at 37 and PH7. 

Function

1. To remove the generated or residual hydrogen peroxide from food, food additives and ingredients after disinfection, bleaching or processing.

2. To remove the odor caused by hydrogen peroxide from food, like milk, eggs, etc., after ultraviolet irradiation.

3. To remove the residual hydrogen peroxide after disinfection of dairy equipments.

Product Functions

Application in textile industry:

Catalase is applied and used in the dip process of equipments like jet dyeing machine, piston scraping, overflow, bobbin dyeing, dyejigger, etc.

Operation method:

1.   Discharge bleaching solution.

2.   Re-pull in water, and adjust the temperature and bath ration to that suitable for the later dyeing.

3.   Check and make sure the pH at 5-10, temperature at 40-55℃.

4.   Add 0.1-0.4 g/l Catalase to remove the hydrogen peroxide.

5.   Examine the hydrogen peroxide contains in the solution, If hydrogen peroxide still can be checked, recheck the solution after 5-10 minutes.

6.   When the hydrogen peroxide is completely removed, dyeing can be started in the solution.

Catalase is a bio-active protein. It should be stored in a place where is cool, dry and away from sunlight. The liquid can be stored for six months with vitality not less than labeled and the solid can be stored for twelve months with vitality not less than labeled under normal temperature.25℃)
